| Concrete is the most widely used building materials at present. The cement, as the cementitious material of the concrete, produces large pollution to the environment while its producing and using. At the same time, producing cement consumes a great deal of resources. Today, our world comes to an agreement of the environmental protection, and our country is generalizing the strategy of sustainable development, and the conception of green building material has been created. So, when building materials were produced, we should use cleaner method and fewer resources. So, the environment will be more badly destroyed if we still using a mass of cement that takes high cost of resources and large pollution. Using the industrial slag and byproduct which content active element such as SiO2 and Al2O3 or their composite powder as additions take part even large part of cement, can reduce the pollution and make these slag resource recovery.This task prepared composite powder by using Lithium slag, limestone powder and silica fume. Then concrete was made by using cement and the composite powder as addition. Lithium slag is an industrial solid waste, by analyzing its chemical component, it is noticed that the amount of SiO2 and Al2O3 up to 80%. The hydration reaction ability of Lithium slag at normal condition is very low, but it can harden by the second time hydration reaction with Ca(OH)2 which produced by cement hydration reaction. So it is useful to increase the late strength of concrete. Relative to the Lithium slag is very low. But after the limestone powder was milled, it not only can complement the fine particle of concrete, reduce bleeding and segregation, but also can form soft paste with cement and water, and improve the placeability of concrete. The active SiO2 content of silica fume up to 93%~98%, so it has high activities. The C-S-H that created by its hydration reaction can basically improve the air void structure and degree of compaction of the concrete.In the test, Lithium slag was added alone from 10%~40% of the quantity of cementing material. When the adding quantity of Lithium slag is 10% of the cementing material, the 60d compressive strength of concrete is 121MPa, is the highest. While we increase the adding quantity, the compressive strength is dropping, but even the adding quantity at 40% of cement material, its 60d compressive strength... |
