Energy sources engineering is basal industry of developing national economy, there are close relation between economic sustaining development and energy provision. As the first industry of national economy, Electric power industry plays the important role in energy sources engineering. While condenser is one of the most important equipments, it is normal operation will be save much energy sources.This article put forward an effective method to avoid the erosion of condenser in thermal power generator unit by analyzing the principle of all kinds of condenser erosion forming and the environment that cause the erosion.The internal cause for the corrosion of condenser copper alloy tube was analyzed in theory and experiment. The research reveals that corrosion of condenser copper alloy tube mainly results from ammonia erosion. The real cause lies in the quality of cooling water and the components of copper alloy tube. The anti-corrosion performance can be improved by selecting the suitable pipe. The remake scheme used TP304 stainless steel spirally indented tube for cooling tube was determined.There are also some researches on the method of updating and rebuilding them. Technology economics research on the feasibility of updating and rebuilding condenser is also studied. Finally, the prospect of stainless steal condenser used in the plant of our country have been analyzed and demonstrated.The result reveals that the stainless steel have good mechanical properties, anti-corrosion and anti-scale performance. Considering the heat-transmission and other properties, the best solution is the stainless steel.
