With the large capability and high parameter development of power system and generating equipments, as well as the advance of power plant automation level, operators are requested imminently to have better management of technology and operation and ability to response the emergency, so the training mode with simulator has been applied widely. Simulator is an installation with computers as its core which is developed to simulate turbo generator and used to train operators. Electric simulation system is an important part of simulation software of power plant, but previous simulator dealt simply with electric system and can only meet the requirement of basic training and teaching. In order to improve training quality and meet the requirement of high performance and full-range simulator, electric simulation system must be mended. Basing on this background, the electric system of 360MW #1 unit in Luo Huang fossil-fired power plant is studied, and its mathematic models are established , and the modular programs of its simulation system is designed in this paper. The following contributions are included:With adopting modular modeling idea, electric system is divided into two sub-systems. One is generator unit system which includs generator-main transformer, exciter system, cooling system, the other is power distribution system which includes 220KV substaion and plant comsumption. Then every part mathematic model is established. Generator mathematic model is the most important part, and its fine model described by Park's equation is firstly derived, then five-order, three-order and two-order practical models is imported. The key to power distribution system is to ignore transient process in this sub-system and to draw the network equivalent circuit diagram, therefore its node voltage equation is algebraic equation. The interface between generator unit system and power distribution system is generated through coordinate transform, then the equations system uniting differential equation and algebraic equation is formed. According to different simulation situation, different generator mathematic model is chosen and different simultaneous equations system is formed, so improved Euler method, four-order Runge-Kutta method and Newton-Raphson method are accordingly used for simulation algorithms. Then all program modulars of electric system are coded with TOP-DOWN modularized design method in the development environment of Compaq Visual Fortran. Finally the...
