Mechanical Analysis Study On Large-torque Pulley Of Belt Conveyer

The pulley is one of the important parts in the belt conveyor. Because of complex loading and inappropriate design parameter, pulley failure often occurs. Therefore that the technique of CAE is applied to the strength and stiffness of the pulley, and is used to design portability, enduring and high strength pulley is the very key of improving the reliability of belt conveyor pulley.This thesis studies systematically the mechanics problem of the large-torque pulley of belt conveyor. Firstly the loading of the pulley is researched completely. Then the finite element molding process of the pulley is discussed, and the pulley is studied by the static analysis and dynamic analysis.The software of ANSYS is developed secondly by VB language, and is programmed to be the software of the analysis and optimization applied specially to the large-torque pulley of belt conveyor. And analysis is contrasted between pulley' s front and back stress by the software.
