The green space is the physical environment that the human needs in urban area. It plays an important role in safeguarding the urban ecological balance and improving the urban ecological environment. The urban green space is considered as one of the important factors which maintains sustainable development of the city.Protection of bio-diversity in the world has been raised the wave of sustainable development strategy since the 1990s.The sustainable development strategy and urban bio-diversity protection has been paid attention by more people. The task of planning of urban green space is raising the natural attribute of city that will improve the city environment, natural and man-made environment should be designed as an ecosystem to make people and nature in harmony.Though there is a very good topographical character naturally in Yanji, from the point of view of ecology, Yanji doesn' t have a healthy ecosystem at present, the urban structure of green space is unreasonable. There is no much connection between green space and other urban space in constructed urban area. There is not enough road and waterfront green space, park green space as the lung of the city. The existing urban green space planning can not be implemented very well.The paper studies on the structure of urban green space system in Yanji, which influences ecological function based on completely analysis of the current problems in the plan of urban green space system, puts forward that building urban green space system should be regard as important factors , makes suggestions to rectify the planning of urban green space system and puts forward the strategies and measures of how to building the urban green space system in Yanji.
