On the basis of the previous study , it have been comprehensively and systematically studied that law principles, algorithms and calculation process of DEM. Principles and thinking of DEM was creatively introduced into dynamics analysis of the gear meshing rotor system. According to relevant mechanics laws,formulas and various parameters of the rotor system identified reasonably, The DEM dynamics models of gear meshing rotor system were established.A software to DEM numerical simulation analysis has been developed by Borland C++ Builder, which is a kind of visual C++. This software can plot the trajectory of axis center of some given cross-section of the rotor system, Poincarésectional view and time charts of vibration.It can be analyzed that nonlinear characteristics of movement and its changes with the parameters'changes of the rotor system through simulation and calculation, and then the dynamics characteristics of such rotor systems was studied .This paper mainly made a useful theory discussions and method attempts to the dynamics analysis of gear meshing rotor system,and I hope this can provide some references and assistances for its comprehensive research.
