| Gear plays an important role in mechanical device,gear transmission has the advances include accurate transmission ratio,steady operation,high efficiency,long life,the allowed using large-scale of power,speed and gear size etc,so the gear transmission is used extensively by the area of automobile,aviation and so on.Meshing stiffness is a profound parameter in gear system strength designed and the analysis of gear meshing dynamics,meshing stiffness is time-varying due to the gear special structure,and there are so many factors to influence meshing stiffness.It is significant to study the factors that influence meshing stiffness and gear meshing dynamics.This paper mainly uses FEA quasi-static meshing stiffness algorithm to study the influence factors of meshing stiffness;the gear pair dynamics simulation is conducted by MATLAB.The main work of this paper as follows:1.The gear pair FEA models construction.Take the involute gear pair as the object,the parametric modeling method is used in 3-D modeling software Solidworks to establish the gear pair assembly model with different number of teeth,different pressure angle and tooth profile arc modification,and then the constructed models are put into transient structural module of FEA software ANSYS Workbench directly,the teeth and gear base body meshed respectively,the material property,meshing teeth contact setting,constraints and load are defined,the gear pair assembly FEA model is established.2.The calculation of meshing stiffness and its influenced factors analysis.The meshing stiffness expression of quasi-static derivate from gear dynamics differential equation,the dynamics transmission errors are solved by transient module of FEA software ANSYS Workbench to compute the meshing stiffness,through the meshing stiffness by ISO6336-1-2006 meshing stiffness equation,the modelling accuracy and the FEA setting rationality is verified.Then the loading torque,pressure angle and tooth profile arc modification to influence the meshing stiffness is analysed.3.Gear dynamics simulation.The gear pair dynamics model with variable degree of freedom and different parameters considered is established by lumped parameter method,the gear dynamics differential equation is solved via 4-5order self-adaption Runge-Kutta method,the dynamic response of gear pairs is obtained,next,the influence of real contact ratio,loading torque,revolving speed and meshing damping ratio to dynamic response of gear pair is explored.Because the gear pair with tooth profile arc modification meshing comprehensive meshing stiffness is not clear,it is difficult to conduct the dynamics numerical simulation of gear pair with tooth profile arc modification.In the transient structural module of FEA software ANSYS Workbench,the dynamic FEA analysis of gear pair with tooth profile arc modification is conducted,and the influence of tooth profile arc modification on gear pair dynamics response is investigated. |
