The distribution of oil film pressure of journal bearings is one of the basic parameters of journal bearings. At present, the research are generally get by computation. There are little practice of measuring oil film pressure, some article only measuring oil film pressure all take strain transducers, and it has simple structure , convenient operation and low price. At present, the main strain transducers of using and research are flat film strain transducers, by analysis. These kind of transducers have their shortage. The strain transducers used to measure oil film pressure of journal bearings have been improved designed, and its static and dynamic characters are analyzed. The main work include theoretic analysis and experiment. In the theoretic analysis, the software of Finite Element Analysis: ANSYS, are used. Through the static analysis, we can get the strain of two directions, and decide the way to stick the strain foil to obtain better sensitivity. And the strength check have been proceed toward the thinnest boundary. The curve of the sensitivity of the transducers are drawn at last. The dynamic analysis include natural vibration analyse, harmonic response analyse and transient response analyse. The initial fourth order natural frequency are obtained through natural vibration analysis. Through harmonic response analyse, the steady-state response of the sensor under the load changing as sine wave with time are obtained. And with transient response analyse, we get the sensor' response under the actual oil film pressure. To realize non-distortion measurement and avoid syntony, experiment of the subject studied the dynamic characters of the sensor mainly. The analyse indicate that, the sensor have favorable sensitivity, linear characteristic and reliability, and have higher first order natural frequency and favourable dynamic response characters.
