The Research On Plant Landscape Of Urban Roadside Green-land

Since the intensification of urbanization, it not only brought great economic benefits, but also the population explosion, excessive building density, terrible traffic jam, and other problems. Nowadays, improving ecological environment of cities, building ecological cities and maintaining the sustainable development are main issues of city construction. Plantation is the major character of green space, and it is also the important part of the landscape of the city road system. The improvement of plant landscape of road greenbelt could lead to the improvement in the city landscape and improvement in living condition as well. So, the research on the deployment of plant landscape of urban roadside green-land has both theoretical and practical guidance on how to design it.In my thesis, with my understanding on the relationship between city development and road system scene, I try to figure out what is the problem within today's city road landscape, and then conclude five principles of designing road system plantation to enhance the guidelines of design which are "people first", "biological", "arresting", "diversify" and "unique". Moreover, all my researches are based on Changsha. After the deep inside into Changsha's plant landscape of road greenbelt in people, environment and scene, I find out that Changsha lack the diversity and high class plants and give some opinions and modes on city roads plantation design.
