As the society develops, the industrialized society demands excessively from the environment, as a result, the ecological quality of environment worsened step by step. Though high-paced life in crowed cities takes people far away from the lifestyle described in the poem, it is the instinct for people to get close to the nature, and the desire of "returning to the nature" becomes more and more intense. Under such background, Tourism Orchard came into being, and it is re-understanding of the ecology and the nature.As a new thing, Tourism Orchard is the extensive combination of agricultural landscape, forest landscape, countryside landscape and tourism. It can be used for production, leisure, education and cultural tourism, while it can bring ecological benefit. So it can unify economic efficiency, social efficiency and ecological benefit well to meet the psychological request of people in modern society.By way of investigating practically and analyzing related literature in and abroad, the author illustrates that Tourism Orchard is a kind of landscape art, which integrates tourism, agricultural production and landscape architecture. Considering the long-existed phenomenon that functions of Tourism Orchard were excessively attached while landscape design were neglected, this paper aims at leading landscape ecology, classical landscape design of landscape aesthetics and modern artistic composition into the landscape design of Tourism Orchard, and emphasizing the landscape artistic design of Tourism Orchard in order to create a kind of botanical garden space with deep cultural atmosphere.Taking the method which combines theory and practice, the author carried on much investigation, personal experience and careful inspection and got accurate and reliable firsthand data.
