This paper reviewed the developing statement of multiphase polymer materials in our country recent years, indicated that there still has big disparity comparing with the international level. The development of the Shearing Instrument for laser sputtering (JQY) would make a help for our researchers to change this backward state, and enhance the level of research in multiphase polymer materials in our country. JQY is able to heat and cut crystalline and amorphous multiphase polymer materials which generally happened in actual producing process in works, and control accurately its temperature, shearing rate, and gap, which would provide evidences for promulgating the dependent relations between the microstructure and temperature and shearing rate during processing procedure for multiphase polymer materials.We have already succeeded in developing the first type JQY-01 Shearing Instrument for research in multiphase polymer materials. It passed through the check of National Natural Science Foundation committee, obtained high appraisal. In order to make its performance and structure more superior and prepare for commercialization, this article improved the shape in the base on JQY-01, developed JYQ-02.This paper explained briefly the definition of mechatronics and the composition of its system. The Shearing Instrument of JQY-02 are typical integrated instruments of mechatronics. The up machine of the system is a personal computer (PC). The down machine is a programmable controller (PLC). The control terminal is a mechanical system—Shearing Cell.
