The biodiversity is the living resources that the human beings rely for existence, and the urban green space system is the pivot in the ueban biodiversity research. Six types of the urban green space were selected to investigate and research in this paper. The main research process and results are given as follows:(1)21 locations and 174 quadrats were investigated totally. There were 497 specieses plants belonging to 111 families, 341 genuses in the artificial community which had been investigated. The most abundant type of urban green space in species is the general park and the other types in turn is as follows: the specific park, the curbside green space, the residential green space, the public facility green space, the road green space. Planting species in the specific park and wilding species in the residential green space was the most. The repetition rate of planting species in residential green space and road green space was particularly high.(2) Replacing individuals by coverage, Patrick index, Margalef index, Menhinick index and Monk index were caculated. As a result showed that, the Monk index was influenced most easily by coverage and the other types in turn is as follows: Menhinick index, Margalef index, Patrick index. If the communities differ greatly in structure, should use the index which was influenced easily by the total coverage carefully. If the area of quadrats were close, Patrick index was the best index to measure species richness of the community.(3) Rreplacing individuals by coverage or importance value respectively, Simpson index, Shannon-Wiener index, McIntosh index, Pielou evenness index (Simpson), Pielou evenness index (SW) and Alatalos evenness index were caculated.
