The paper explores the cycle optimization algorithm based on the elastic deformation of simply supported beam in order to measure the mass of a moving vehicle,and experimental research of simply supported beam is carrried out.At first,WIM is designed as a whole ,so the idealistic and simplified model of the simply supported beam is built up.Then,the mathematical model of the cycle optimization algorithm is formed which is based on the elastic deformation of the simply supported beam.Then,in the preparation for the simply supported beam experiment a four-wheel dolly model is designed and manufactured,which is equipped with two double motor eccentricity wheels to simulate the vibration of the moving vehicle.Three untouched deflection sensors based on electronic bow wave are located under the beam at 0.25,0.5 and 0.75 times length of the beam.Experiment is accomplished with moving point force with constant speed,and double axle dolly with constant speed.The analog signal with different speeds and various weights is collected.Next,in the work of the original signal analysis and process,original signal is loaded in MATLAB and transformed into three arrays,three methods is explored to cut the signal in order to confirm the acutual beginning and ending of the signal.The signal is transformed from time coordinate to frequency coordinate in order to get the charts of spectrum in frequency coordinate.Then the signal is filtered.
