Research And Development On Measure Systerm Of Gas Engin Indicator Diagrambased On Virtual Instrument

The paper presented and developed a new style measure system of gas engine indicator diagram .The system consist of sensors, signal condition circuit, DAQ , PC and testing software developed. The measure system can acquire the indicator diagram of gas engine (P-V diagram , P-Φ diagram), and analyzed out a series of important physical parameters such as mean indicate pressure , indicate power , maximal pressure with corresponding crank angle .maximal rate of pressure rise and drop with corresponding crank angle and soon on . It can provided original information for researching work process and combustion condition of gas engine .The information measured can be stored on hard disk and prints to files.The measure software is based on the technology of "Virtual Instrument" of National Instruments with software platform-LabVIEW. And now, VI has already become a mainly methods and artifice to develop complex testing system and instruments. Comparing with the common program language, VI is more convenient and simpler, it can shorten the developing periods of the program in large scales.The measuring system has plenty of merits, such as high-precision, stable performance, strong anti-disturb ability and friendly interface. It has high ratio of performance and price comparing with other engine burning analyze instruments from market.
