With the development of the technology of machenical manufacture, technics, material smelting and heat treatment in the recent years, more and more domestic and foreign manufacturing have attached importance to the ball screw,which is one of the preferred parts of precision linear drive. So on the basis this dissertation is to discuss and research the dynamic load rating of the ball screw.This dissertation is composed of the following parts:The first chapter reviews the history of ball screw,summarizes its current status,developing trend and some research results of this field domestic and aboard. After that this paper brings forward the subject's research background,significance, feasibility and the research content and the expecting targets. Finally it shows the whole frame of this article.The second chapter narrates the ball screw's theory sources and formulas,and then analyses the impacting factors on the geometry manufacture dimension for its dynamic load rating,such as the diameter of the ball,the lead and so on.Material factor of the ball screw is analysed at first,afterwards the helix angle to the dynamic load rating,and then the correction formular is given out.At last contrasting the datum among the correction values,the stylebook values and the new account values it shows for the advantages of the correction formula.In the fourth chapter,the design,calculation and check system for ball screw as a whole was a software system,based on the design theory of ball screw,computer technology and database. It also gives an example of the system and integrates the correction formula into the system.Finally,this dissertation summarizes the research work,emphasizes the paper's innovation and trait,and gives us the future work of this research.
