Basic Research On The Linear Rare-earth Permanent Magnet Oscillating Generator

The linear permanent magnet oscillating generator researched in this paper is a special linear machine. For the linear generator has characters of simple structure, high mechanical reliability, high control accuracy and ability of generating power directly by linear movement, there are wide potential applications in many occasions. The linear generator will exert its own function and replace revolving generator in linear movement area.Based on the test sample, the research content in this paper includes:1. An electric machine with new structure and new principle is introduced and one blank in linear machine area of our country is filled. It is a flat electric machine with two sides; the mover is made of neodymium iron boron rare-earth material, which makes the machine with less volume and higher power, and can be used in occasion with higher temperature. The structure and operating principle of the electric machine are introduced in detail.2. The magnet field of the electric machine is analyzed by new method. Common electromagnet analysis start with magnet circuit, many presumptions are advanced and a lot of details are neglected make the calculation with quite big error. The magnet field of electric machine is analyzed by finite element method in this paper, the result of which is more accurate and closer to practice.3. Electromagnet finite element program is compiled using large scale FEM software. The magnet field distributions are calculated when the mover is at different positions: including the magnet field when the mover is at quadrature axis and direct axis. The results are directly showed as pictures, which settle the theory and practice foundation to find out the relationship between no-load EMF, electro-magnetic force and current, the relationship between current and magnet field and confirm the structure design of the electric machine.
