Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is a kind of new imaging radar. High-resolution radar image can be obtained by using SAR under all weather, day and night and long distance conditions. It is a branch of radar technology and a research emphasis, so it has high value in military and civil applications. This thesis focused on R-D imaging algorithms in orthogonal mode and Real-time processing implementation based on DSP.Chapter II introduced the conception of synthetic aperture and pulse compression technology, analyzed planar high-resolution from the view of range compression and azimuth compression.Chapter III studied R-D algorithms in orthogonal mode, analyzed dot-target echo signal model. The imaging results of simulated signal were given.Chapter IV introduced the characteristic of DSP system and design flow, the characteristic of TI TMS320C6415, and the scheme of Real-time Processor was discussed.Chapter V introduced the design and optimizationof the software for fixed-pointed DSPs, especially for TMS320C6415.Chapter VI introduced the hardware design for high-speed processing board in details, for example, circuit schematic diagram design and PCB design, hardware debugging and the problems in the design.Chapter VII calculated the computation and hardware cost needed to realize Real-time Processor under system requirements, allotted tasks and verified real-time feasibility, outlined hardware frame based on TI TMS320C6415 DSP chip. With the development of DSP, VLSI, and computer technology, the full digital airborne...
