Systemic experimental investigation and theoretic analysis on the mechanical aspects such as static strength characteristics and creep characteristics on impact for tunnel construction in host sandstone and coal-rock have been conducted in the dissertation.1 The experiment studies both the uniaxial compressive strength and triaxial compressive strength of sandstone, under natural conditions.2 An Mohr circle is graphed according to values of the traixial strain and confining stress. Besides, failure theory and strength parameters: C andΦare obtained through analyzing the curve fitting.3 Theoretic analysis is conducted and simulated by means of uniaxial damage constitutive model theory combining experimental result.4 Triaxial creep experiments of coal-rocks are done by Step Method and the XTR01 electric-fluid serving compression machine. The author, uses the five-substance model, discusses three-dimensional constitutive equations and creep ones. It is found that the model well describes the full creep procedure of coal-rocks.5 The rheological parameters of the creep equations are calculated and the forecast curves are drawn. In comparison with the experimental curves, the theoretic results are proved.6 Using the program FLAC3D, Burger-Creep Viscoplastic Model, the viscous elastic rheological regularities for the tunnel were quantitatively researched.
