The Research Of Architectural Morphology Design On Zhejiang Gentle Hillside

Under the pressure of resource shortage and rapid urbanization, " saving land, energy, water and material "is becoming the main movement that Chinese cities are undergoing. Considering Zhejiang province's special background, making use of gentle hillside is an effective way of figuring out the land shortage problem. As most cities are accustomed to the plain's construction pattern, how to design buildings on the gentle hillside is becoming a new research task. This paper selects the slope condition as the dominant clue, combines with the society development and the change in mankind's requirements and analyses the inherent relation between condition, architecture and mankind, and the factors influenced the architectural form, then sum arises the histological morphology types suit to the landform, further, discusses the new ways to express and design the architectural form on the premise of scientific and ecologic, and analyses the actual cases. The purpose of this research is to establish a system of research on the gentle hillside building design. And the achievement is a foundation for further research.
