The System Of Impact Factors Of Zhejiang Gentle Hillside Building Design (Ⅰ)

Under the pressure of resource shortage and rapid urbanization, "saving land, energy, water and material" is becoming the main movement that Chinese cities are undergoing. Considering Zhejiang province' s special background, making use of gentle hillside is an effective way of figuring out the land shortage problem. As most cities are accustomed to the plain' s construction pattern, how to design buildings on the gentle hillside is becoming a new research task. There are two objects in this research: one is site design and the other is single building design. This paper will focus on the site design. The purpose of this research is to establish a system of impact factors of the gentle hillside building design. And the achievement is a foundation for further research.
