The three design methods: engineering analogy method, the theoretical calculation method and measure control on-site method. On the scene, three kinds of methods are applical and limit:1 Engineering analogy methodEngineering analogy method develops early. It assures the parameter and construction method on the base of the surrounding rocks classification and contrasts similar engineering experience. Therefore, engineering analogy method depands on the engineering practice experience .In addition, it is involved in the various factor of geology and engineering. So it is very difficult to the strict compare .2 The theoretical calculation methodThe theoretical calculation method is the method that according to analogy assure the support parameter at measure the surrounding rocks under the condition of the rock mechanics characteristic establishment mechanics model. The theoretical calculation method usually contain the theories resolution method,the numerical method and the pole department analysis method etc. FEM can in every digging stage acquire the dint, stability that moves and surrouding rocks etc and give the information of the actual design and construction stage. But it can't make sure the value of surrouding rocks physics mechanics accurately.
