The Research On Rational Scale Of The Regional Highway

The regional highway is an important part of transportation system. And it is also important traffic equipment to satisfy the region socio-economic development and the resident transportation demand. The region highway construction must consider the influence of the national economy development and the level of development of society and so on correlation factor. In different development phase, Must have the high speed highway network development scale which matches with it. Therefore, analysis and investigation of the rational developing scale of the regional highway network will be of great significance for the following aspects: adjusting the adaptability between traffic and economy; finding the problems during the highway construction and development; establishing rational developing project for the highway network; facilitating the harmonious development of traffic and economy; realizing the modernization and sustainable development of the traffic system.In this thesis, firstly the meaning of the developing scale of highway network was deeply illustrated, and Introduces the region highway reasonable construction scale target separately. Next, based on the comprehensive analysis of the influencing factors of the regional highway network developing scale, the hierarchical structure model of the urban road network scale was established using the model technology of system engineering. Then various methods of ascertaining the rational scale of the highway network were discussed, and summarize advantages and disadvantages of various methods.On the analysis of social economic forecasting and transportation demand forecasting , the idea and method for ascertaining the rational scale of the highway network were brought forward and the following theory and method for calculating the highway network scale were established:(1)The theory for calculating the road network scale under the nodules connectivity method (2) Definite scale by analogy standard value,(3) the total estimate method. Finally, taking the development of the urban road network of Hunan province as an example, the practical application of the theory and method that were brought out in this thesis was validated. And good results were achieved.
