With the amount of the global bus product increasing rapidly, the three problem, safety of product, energy consumption and environment contamination become focus, which have to be concerned and solved in the automotive engineering industry. Lightening the product weight in design is a good idea, which can not only help to reduce the energy consumption and make use of resource effectively, but also let out less exhaust and relief environment contamination. Skeleton of car body is one of the most important components for passenger car. It's performance has a direct relationship to the body structure of the life and the whole performance.It's weight is about one quarter of the completed vehicle kerb mass. The weight lighting of skeleton is of great importance to reduce the vehicle weight.and it is significant and practical to lighten the structure weight in bus body design. Bus technology applied to the finite element structural analysis. And you can get suggestions for improvement so that the structure can meet the requirements of strength and rigidity, And, in this framework based on the lightweight body of research is an effective method.Based on a passenger bus company's new high-grade projects. Analysis its 2006 development of new large-scale of high-grade coach with finite element method .The bus used with a mature technology imported chassis, body type for the entire loading.Body Frame rectangular steel tubes welded from multi-section.The main purpose of this paper is : to set up the structure for finite element model;Body static finite element analysis to determine the terms and conditions of loadcase and boundary conditions corresponding constraints imposed by the method;meet the body based on the strength and stiffness of the lightweight body; exploring body bearing degrees's evaluation method;In line with the above objectives, the paper launched the following aspects:(1) To establish the structural finite element model body :analysis of the structural features of the bus, the use of CATIA curve modeling.establishment of the body skeleton of 3D wireframe model, relying on large-scale finite element analysis software Patran.According to the Vehicle Body features of the skeleton body to determine the requirements of the three module types and conditions.and the respective conditions corresponding to the load and boundary conditions,the finite element model calculation of the required form.(2) Body Structure Static Analysis : static strength and stiffness is a basic requirement for bus body structure.Analysis of body strength and stiffness can identify the stress distribution and deformation of the body.Useing large finite...
