On the background of"Supervisory Information System of ERDOS electric power metallurgy Co.Ltd project (2300MW)"and"Thermal Power Plant Bidding Decision-making System", Load optimizing distributing, unit commitment & run-stop program and bidding Decision-making are studied in the paper. The main contents are as follows:1. The keystone of Load optimizing distributing is researched. Traditional dynamic programming method in getting result of units load optimizing distributing is also studied and example of the method is given. Based on the analysis, dynamic programming arithmetic is improved. Result indicate that at reducing step length losing, economizing storage space and increasing operation speed, improving arithmetic is more excellent than traditional arithmetic.2. The mathematical model of unit commitment & run-stop program is studied. The effect factors in operating unit commitment & run-stop program is discussed. The application of priority method and dynamic programming in getting result of unit commitment & run-stop program is also analyzed. The two methods is be used in operating unit commitment & run-stop program of thermal power plant and the results is intercompared too.3. Based on the research of load optimizing distributing and unit commitment & run-stop program, the load economical dispatching software of thermal power plant is developed in the thesis. The function modules of the software are narrated and the software interface and related words are given in the paper with which user can easily use the software.4. The cost composing of thermal power plant is analyzed and approximately calculating means of the composing parts are also given. Based on the model of the load economical dispatching, the mathematical model of multi-periods maximum profit is given. Application of the maximum profit model in calculating three bidding strategies that are given is studied in the thesis. In the paper, examples of the three bidding strategies are given that is used to compare with others.
