With the development of the power grid in Jiangsu Province, the operation of the system is more changeable and complicated. Large number of loop operation, especially the electromagnetic loop operation, has made the fault current excess the switch capacity. Without changing the equipments, the fault current can be limited by using delaminating and districting operation and some special operation.Because of the serious power supply and the problems in security and stability of the grid, it is very important to have an delaminating and districting operation in Zhenjiang's power grid, thus to prevent the hidden trouble that the high fault current would bring to the secure operation of the power grid, and also the power transmission can be assured at the same time.According to Jiangsu Power Company's plan of developing the 500/220kV grid, the delaminating and districting operation in Zhenjiang grid is researched, based on the program theory and the operation experience of domestic and overseas grid. Some work has been done:1. Summing-up the reasons and the structure characteristics of loop operation, as well as varieties and characteristics of the electromagnetic loop operation; analyzing the active and passive effect of the loop operation, and giving the basic principles, ways and requirements in solving the problems of loop operation;2. According to the conditions of Zhenjiang power grid, analyzing the present problems and demonstrating the feasibility of delaminating and districting operation in Zhenjiang grid;3. Comparing and analyzing the two plans of delaminating and districting operation from the point of power flow, static security and transient stability, and then putting forward a feasible program based on the present conditions of Zhenjiang grid;4. Analyzing the merits and demerits of the districting operation in Zhenjiang grid, summing-up the present problems of delaminating and districting operation in Zhenjiang grid and giving a feasible solving program;5. Studying the delaminating and districting operation from the point of program and over viewing the future development of Zhenjiang grid; putting forward the new districting operation program that is suitable for the development of Zhengjiang grid, and then giving the total principles in the future program.
