The electromagnetically coupled power loop and district-dividing operation area kind of network configuration in the development of Power Grid. With theimprovement and expansion of the500kV and220kV power grid, the operationpattern is complex in Liaoning power grid. And the220kV power grid running withdistrict-dividing is a general trend. It is very important to have a district-dividingoperation in Liaoning’s power grid to hold back the hidden trouble which the highfault current would bring to the secure operation of the power grid on account of theserious power supply and the problems in security and stability of the grid.Nanhai、Liaozhong、Fushun、Yanzhou、Changling、Songshan、Xihai、Hexiang、Lizhou and Shengjiang500kV power transmission project will be put into operationin the“Twelfth-Five Year Plan” period in Liaoning province.Firstly,the paper willclear the project order,then,in accordance with the production order research theelectromagnetic loop network one by one.This paper points out the existing problemin the electromagnetic coupling operation modes in Liaoning power grid by meansof the calculation and analysis on the short circuit currents. the district–dividingoperation schemes are researsched and the best ways are pointed out in some regronsof Liaoning.This paper presents a new power network planning of Liaoning,which istechnology andrationality,power supply reliability,economy and adapatability.
