The energy problem has become one of the most important issue the people facing in the 21st century. High speed flywheel energy storage using motor matches by the numeric dual-closed-loop control treat as a new energy storage way, has the large energy storage density, high efficiency, dispersing arrangement, facility and flexible control, and so on many merits, thus has the widespread application in the electrical system, the aeronautics and astronautics, and many other fields. The high speed brushless DC motor control system this paper study is just the motor subsystem of the flywheel energy storage system.The research paper begin with high speed brushless DC motor structure principle and the dual-closed-loop control system realization principle, design and complete a close-loop brushless DC motor control system based on special electrical machinery control chip the ADI corporation's ADSP21992. The hardware design mainly includes the drive and control circuit, the position examination circuit,external regulate circuit,digital to analog and analog to digital circuit design. The software aspect program the system under the ADI corporation's developing environment VisualDSP3.5++, it emphasizes on the PWM wave pulse generation method,PI adjustment algorithm research and realization,rotate speed precision calculate method research and development,external Flash memory read-in and boot from method such as those aspect, provide part of control system prime program.After complete the above hardware and software design, the article take the high speed brushless DC motor as the object, and on a debugging platform with the dynamometer controller experiment the whole control system at open and close loop situation.Firstly, take the high speed motor experiment at unload and load situation, full-scale record profile and analysis; do the high speed motor highspeed running experiment records the data and analyse, according the experiment phenomena provide the PWM frequency choosing method at the different rotate speed; design the open loop timing system, observe different external regulate condition, system rotatespeed and PWM chop wave situation record result and analysis, record speed synchronous change with the external regulate curve and analyse.Secondly, experiment the control system about single speed loop, consist load performance and resist disturb performance, validate the right design of the speed loop; experiment current internal loop via change the feedback channel coefficient, through the theory construe,protract the feedback current changed voltage with system duty-cycle and rotate speed change curve; experiment the dual-loop control, consist load performance and resist disturb performance, get across compare the experiment result with single speedloop and analyse, the double close-loop control system can change more briskly when the external regulate and disturb change, finally testify the current loop function realization.
