For a long time, the analysis of power grid in steady state mainly focuses on the optimizations, statistics and analysis of single time cross-section. The algorithms of the single time cross-section oriented analysis are often very complicated with high error rates. Thus, ideas of time-process oriented analysis gradually become known as a new way more adapted to the operating characters of power grid. However, most calculations of power grid are single time cross-section oriented, as the variations of system state are too complicated to describe by general functions.Electrical energy is the main entity that is produced, transmitted and consumed in a power grid. The energy variation in time domain can serve as a perfect indicator of the status variation in the operation of a power grid. Thus, the process-oriented idea in power grid analysis can absolutely be reflected in the research on energy variation in time domain of power grid.The energy variation in time domain of power grid is analyzed, and the energy function in steady state of grid is also studied in the thesis.First, the history of how the energy function is put forward, applied and developed in network analysis and the researching products of process-oriented analysis method are overviewed. Then, time process division idea is raised to lay the foundation of the constitution and analysis of steady state energy function in power grid.Next, the energy stations of both classical RLC branch circuit and RLC branch in sinusoidal envelope current situation are analyzed. Then, the structure and features of steady state energy function are discussed based on the characters of power grid.To get the solution of the steady state energy function of power grid, energy trajectory method is proposed based on the process-oriented idea. And the calculation steps and general formula of energy trajectory simulation method are proposed and evaluated in rectangular reference frame.At last, the energy trajectory simulation method is applied in calculations of line losses.
