Floating sluice is developed from floating bulkhead, which is specified that it can only used in quiescent water or quietly low flow rate by the code of practice. Floating sluice break through limitation of quiescent water, and it can be used in running water. So it is applied to the river of city in plain region, and it can overcome the contradiction between flood prevention and navigable fairway, which is good for the river of city with low operating frequency. Current condition of the floating sluice in running water is complex, as a result, there are many hydraulics problems needed to solve. The thesis simulated the locating process of floating sluice with three-dimensional mathematic model which used dynamic mesh technique, and acquired some significative conclusion, mainly as follows:It discussed theorem, development, classification, advantage and operating environment of dynamic mesh technique, in allusion to the large deformation of the moving gird of the model, and it choose the dynamic mesh technique including spring-base smoothing and local remeshing. It built three-dimensional mathematic model for floating sluice on the basis of unstructured grid FVM. Then it did some proper reduction to the free surface guided by the affecting factor for drag part of mainly hydraulic character, and it validated the result of mathematic model with physical model, which showed that the mathematic model is proper and reliability. Making use of three-dimensional mathematic model, it simulated the rotational resistance, flow velocity around the floating sluice and intensity pressure of typical section of the floating sluice. Then it required the relation between rotational resistance and angle of rotation. At the same time, it analyzed the affection for the rotational resistance from sea gage, rotational velocity and inflow velocity.It discussed the variational rule of flow velocity around the floating sluice as it closed or opened, it compared the affections for the flow velocity around the floating sluice from opening sluice or closing sluice, it discussed the distribution rule of the intensity pressure of typical section of the floating sluice, and it looked for the difference between opening sluice and closing sluice.
