Gravity dam is the main style of the hydro junction constructions in our country and anti-sliding stability of the dam foundation is the key problem in the project all the time. With the hydroelectricity is quickly developed and water resource is exploited, dam site geology condition becomes more and more complicated, the anti-sliding stability of the dam is becoming more and more important and is worthy of deep study.Aimed at the problem, systematic research has been performed combined with the example of Tuka river concrete gravity dam. Research findings have been the important reference of evaluating anti-sliding stability of Tuka river gravity dam.Firstly, experiences and research findings in the aspect of anti-sliding stability of the gravity dam are summarized and safety evulation criterions are discussed in the paper, and then FLAC3D software is used as calculation core, three-dimensional nonlinear calculation of Tuka river hydroelectric station is carried on by strength reserve coefficient method, and the anti-sliding stability of the foundation of the dam is studied by analyzing the characters of stress field, displacement field and the expansion of plastic area. The results indicate that the anti-sliding stability of the dam is in the critical station. So, anchor cable reinforcement project, weighted reinforcement project and the integrated project are proposed and calculated. The results indicate that the integrated project is the best for the Tuka river hydroelectric power station. And then, strengthen mechanism and function way is summarized and explained, and the way of attention and cable element offered in FLAC software is adopted to simulating the anchor cable. The results indicate that the way of attention of simulating the cable is feasible considering the stability and the strengthened rocks stability is analyzed according to the expansion of plastic area.Based on the actual project, complicated multi anti-sliding stability has been systematically researched in the paper. We arrive at some conclusions and put them into use in practical projects and provide the reference to other similar projects.
