China is mountainous and landslide disaster occurred frequently. As infrastructure construction carried out rapidly, including the construction of roads, railways, water conservancy and hydropower and the exploitation mining resources, there are many problems about rock slope stability encountered inevitablely in it, which result of the restriction of geographical condition. How to analyze the stability of rock slops and design cost-effective reinforcement program has great significance in practical application and theoretical guidance. The content of it includes the analysis and treatment measures for a multi-step rock slope in Huludao Nanpiao District, which locates the north of Huanxin community, through laboratory rock experiment, theoretical analysis and numerical analysis to carry out the research.Determined the main physical and mechanical parameters of rock slope in the filed by labor rock experiment, to inspect the area mechanics parameters database and select are commended value according to comprehensive assessment, then provide necessary parameters for slope for slope stability analysis.Combined with the characteristics of the multi-step rock slope occurrence and its structural features, taking into account different operating conditions, analyze its local stability by limit equilibrium method. FLAC3D numerical calculation theory is based on the strength reduction theory. Then it simulates and analyzes the stress, displacement, shear strain increment and velocity vector of a rock slope during the process of excavation and completement, combined with the safety factor calculated, comprehensively evaluated the stability of the slope.Developing specific programs and using FLAC3D to stimulate and analyze the stability of the slope after reinforcement, from the perspective of stress, displacement, shear strain increment and velocity vector, and verifying the validity of the program. Then analyzing the reinforcement effect of prestressed cable in the different excavation and supporting sequence and the sensitivity of anchor cable structure. The results can provide reference for the program of excavation and supporting, and the determination of maximum slope angle, which is for the similar rock slope engineering. And they also can provide referential experience for the stability of multi-step rock slope.
