As jumped-up structural systems, steel-concrete mixed structures bear both virtues of steel and concrete, which accord with the policy guide and the situation of our country on the whole. So, it is significant to study on shaking table test of steel-concrete mixed structures. However, there are a good many factors on the shaking table test as a result of its complexity. This paper will mainly discuss the dimension error of shaking table test of steel-concrete mixed structures with model scales of l/10, 1/20 and 1/30.This paper analyzed the potential errors in the model design, construction, testing and data processing, respectively. Being the main error factors in model construction, A great deal data about five dimension factors are collected through many metrical instruments. According to these data, statistical analysis can be made and distributing law about dimension error can be concluded. In addition, uncertainty access on metrical results and instruments is analyzed and the reliability correlates with the results.Assuming dimension error accords with normal distribution, prototype structures with dimension error are simulated in ANSYS and elastic time-history analysis of them is made. The effects of different dimension variable on model result is discussed, the effects of the same dimension variable on model result of different model scale are obtained also. In the end, weight analysis of five dimension variable on seismic responses is discussed.
