With the rapid development of economy and construction, some buildings need to be renovated to keep the pace with city planning, renovation of old town or road broadening, etc. Those buildings are not suitable to be demolished, e.g. those have been brought into use with short service life with functions well, or which with special functions. Hereafter the technology of building monolithic movement could be powerful means and countermeasures to solve the contradiction.The technology of building monolithic movement was applied from early 20th century in the world, while this technology was first applied in 1980抯 in China. Nowadays, more than 100 successful projects of removing engineering are accomplished in China. However, the technology hasn 抰been designed maturely , the special design and the construction specifications are still compiling. The design and construction of removing engineering are usually carried through experience. The engineering practice has been proved: the column is the main vertical stressing component of the structure. The underpinning of column is very important in building movement. It is one of the important factors which relates to whether the building movement will success or not.In this dissertation, the following investigative contents are included:1. The key technology of removing process by collecting the information of building monolithic movement home and abroad are sum up. The optional projects during the different removing stage according to the various structural characteristics are brought forward.2. The main parameter of great section concrete column and definition of great section concrete column are introduced.3. The forms under pressure and approaches of transmitting force of underpinning joint of different grade concrete column are researched by experience.4. The destroy forms under pressure and approaches of transmitting force on the test that interface between concrete column and concrete underpinning beams...
