The research of fuel cell is regarded as the background of the paper and it is with PEMFC (proton exchange membrane fuel cell) as the research object. It launches the research of the PEMFC stack system, which is the high performance Microprocessor as the core, adopting CAN filed bus fibred communication, establishing reasonable control strategy and intelligent control arithmetic. A new kind of fuel cell control system has been developed. Main research achievement is as bellows:At first, the principle and classify of fuel cell, the main character and technical matters of PEMFC are introduced. The architecture of PEMFC stack system is given aiming at its complexity. The system structure comprised the fuel storage and delivery system, air system, stack cooling system, power monitoring system, control system, alarm system and communication system.
