The engineering properties of soil-rock mixture behave with good compacting effect, strong perviousness, large packing density, high shear strength, small settlement deformation, high bearing power etc. So it is widely used in embankment construction. But traditional measuring methods such as sand cone replacement method, nuclear instrument method and circle cutter method etc. have disadvantages such as waste of time and man power, high destructiveness and interfere construction. So it is urgent need to exploit and research a method to estimate the compaction quality of soil-rock embankment. This research gathers the test data of settlement and compaction degree (percentage of solid volume) of different construction conditions under given tonnage, vibrant frequency and roll velocity, then get a empirical equation of the relationship between settlement and compaction degree (percentage of solid volume) by means of the regression analysis, and study the influencing factors of the compaction quality of two typical structure soil-rock embankment.
