Liquid desiccant dehumidification system, utilizing desiccant solution with low surface pressure, such as lithium chloride, lithium bromide, calcium chloride, to realize the humidity handling of process air. This system is featured by stable humidity control, the extensive use of low grade energy (such as solar energy, waste heat, etc..) to serve the purpose of regeneration. In addition, this system is characterized by wide humidity regulation, all fed-in fresh air to realize effective energy recovery. Therefore, it receives in-depth study and wide attention. This thesis proposes a parallel two-stage liquid desiccant dehumidification system. It consists of two parallel dehumidification modules with indispensable regulation on desiccant fed-in, which effectively overcomes the disadvantages of conventional liquid desiccant dehumidification systems, such as low mass transfer driving force, inflexible regulation of solution air ratio. Meanwhile, this system effectively realizes systematic handling of latent load, and the cooling module between the stages reduces the adverse effect of mixing heat occurring during the moisture removal process. Furthermore, evaporating cooler could be added at the end of the dehumidification modules to achieve the independent handling of sensible load and latent load of process air. This thesis detailed the design of four primary modules, electricity distribution system, as well as the selection of components. Meanwhile, this thesis made experimental investigations into the system with calcium chloride as the working desiccant, and the experimental values agree with the ones worked out by the cross heat and mass transfer mathematical model. And it is found that the addition of cooling between two stages considerably rises the dehumidification efficiency up to...
