At first,actuality and development of solar water heater at domestic are analyzed and the development of our country's solar water heater industry are reviewed. Then the researching contents are put forward. Based on consulting a number of references, the performance of the cusp reflector-heat pipe evacuated tubular solar thermal collector is analyzed and researched systematically with the approach of combining the theoretic analysis and the experiment study.Based on the picture of that distributing fluid of radiant energy on central surface of Dish-collectligh mirrort and affection of diversified heat losses by pivotal measure, One new type efficiency cavity receiver was designed.The thermal performance of the conical cavity-type receiver for solar energy collecting system are investigated by experimental data and numerical models.The proportion of diversified heat losses and the entire thermal efficiency in different temperatures are calculated based on the numerical models.The relationship between the heat power and the cavity receiver's efficiency is obtained by the experimental data.The experimental results show that the thermal performance of the thermal efficiency is up to 85% and the conicalcavity-type receiver is considerably steady.Finally, a summing-up and expectation of the concentration system for solar energy utilization on the whole was described in the last part of this paper.
