The stability of power system is a very important problem in its operating processing. The main means of improving stability of power system is by controlling.By combining the idea of inverse system and ANN ath-order inverse system, the optimal control theory and the strategy of coordinated control, this paper studies the stability control of one machine power system.In this paper the method of inverse system and α th-order inverse system are introduced, then with the introduction of the generator set movement equation,the state equation of machine infinite bus power system is presented.It is expressed to rank a integral inverse system figured with feedback methods,using inverse system method.After that, it is equalized to the pseudo-linear system with linear system conversion.Finally, the integrative system design is accomplished using the theory of linear optimization control.Then it studies the application of the method of inverse system and supervised neural controller in the coordinated controlling of single-machine infinite bus power system. After introducing the method of ANN α th-order inverse system it studies its application in the coordinated controlling of single-machine system. At last, as the emphasis of this paper,combining the theory of single-achine coordinated control, the method of ANN α th-order inverse system is studied how to be used in the coordinated control of single-machine power system.The single-machine power system coordinated controlling is designed and which was based on the method of ANN α th-order inverse system.Depending on SimPowerSystems in MATLAB,the paper constructs and simulates the single-machine power system, at the same time,the control laws are used to control generator sets.The simulation results show that: inverse system mothod and neural α th-order inverse system control method have good adaptability to the running point, improve the stability of power system greatly and have good control performance when it was applied to the stability control of power system.At the same time the method of ANN α th-order inverse system hasa simple control structure and can linearize the system even it is unnecessary to know mathematical models and actual parameters of original system.
