The goal of this study was recycle ebullated bed boiler funnel cap comprehensively used in the heat-engine plant of our country. Based on the operating reviews of recycle ebullated bed boiler and the condition analysis of a great deal of discarding funnel cap product, define that funnel cap product should have functional characters in the applicational process. By theory analysis and productive experiment, study the RE-high C_r-low N_i heat-resistant steel which could bear 1200℃, resist oxidation and stand wear and tear.Based on comprehensive analysis of austenitic stainless and heat-resistant steel, ferrite heat-resistant steel and martensite heat-resistant steel in serial steel at home and abroad, analyse the function of alloying agent in the heat-resistant steel and the influence of structure property in different alloying content. Through the optimum design, define the chemical components of the RE-high C_r-low N_i heat-resistant steel between 1100℃ and 1200℃. The chemical components were C%:0.3~1.0; Cr%:30~36; Ni%:7~10; N%:0.25~0.33; Mn%:≤2.0; Si%:0.5~0.6; S%:≤0.04; P%:≤0.06, 0.5%RE-S_iF_e alloy.The result indicated that the RE-high C_r-low N_i heat-resistant steel could have good mechanical behaviour and non-oxidizability( corrosion rate <0.123mm/year). This steel belonged to completely oxidation resistant steel in 1200℃. The funnel cap produced by this material could represent the ascendant heat-durability.
