| This paper analyzes the using principle of color digital cameras and has research on the color space conversion of the color digital camera and then set up color space conversion mathematical model of it.The mathematical model of color camera's color space conversion as input device is similar as scanner, which is must be familiar with the characteristics of natural light source. It makes use of Photoshop software to choose photographs and Matlab software to read the data from the color swatch. Through polynomial regression model , cube interpolation model and tetrahedron interpolation model, it is established nonlinear relationship between the original RGB images of digital camera recording information and optic CIEXYZ (or CIE L* a * b* ). After making comparison and verification of the accuracy of three mathematical models, this paper analyzes the advantage and inferiority of model conversions. In each of the conversion model, it makes conversion model from RGB to XYZ and RGB to L* a * b* , and compared accuracy of the models respectively. The investigative result show that the color space conversion model of the color digital cameras could adopt cube interpolation model and tetrahedron interpolation model for conversion with the nature light sources and complex circumstances.Also the conversion from RGB to L* a * b* is accurate relatively and cube interpolation results are as accurate as tetrahedron interpolation model.The paper is of great value to the further research on digital camera ICC-based CMS and has certain applied values in actual production, such as standardization of operation, reduction of input errors, and accurate reproduction of the original color. |
