| The article studies the automatic testing system for engine cylinder bore surface. Our tenet is to develop the automation of cylinder-bore's quality testing and to improve the automatic process of the automobile industry in our country.We take the template segmenting method and the histogram average fitting method, solve the problem of the segmenting make of cylinder-bore's image processing .The method of template segmenting makes not only the segmenting more accurate, but also ensures the correct connecting of every image and will avoid test failing too. Histogram average fitting method makes the selected threshold value suitable for the change of lightness of factory and realized the automatic defect recognizing. This is not only suitable for cylinder' bore image testing, but also can be used on the other object surface's small defect testing. We have also successfully developed the servo device for cylinder-bore defect testing and automatic image switch over system, which has realized the switchover collecting, handing and storing of the cylinder-bore image and also controlling the other command signal coordinately. |
