This paper focuses on some problems of induction motor in adjusting speed through changing frequency. Based on the dSPACE real-time simulation system and application specific intelligent power module(ASIPM),some control strategies are researched and verified by the experiments.First,some control methods of induction motor are simply introduced, the basic principles of constant V/f control and vector control are analyzed emphatically; and their control structures are given out.Then the experimental platform is eatablished , including the design of main loop and data collection unit, the selection of controller and so on. In order to make the control system smaller, a circuit board is designed, which includes main loop , the voltage and circuit measurement unit , and all kind of interfaces.At last, some experiments about constant V/f control and vector control of induction motor are executed on the platform which is based on dSPACE and ASIPM. In the experiment of constant V/f control, the function module of fault protection in ASIPM and SVPWM is realized. the simulation of vector control is carried out and some control parameters are got. In the experiment of vector control , in order to improve dynamic and static effects, the method of changing the sample frequency of speed is adopted, and the result of experiment showes that the control system has good performance.
