Owning to the excellent performance of the GWF resonance-free isolator in reducing vibration and shock,this paper focuses on researching GWF-5 isolator.The resonance-free principles and coulomb damping of GWF isolator is carried out in this paper.The design of damping structure of GWF-5 isolator is analysed,and the reason that the GWF isolator realize the subsection of the non-linear damping force is explained.Then,based on the statically indeterminate beam theory,the damping structure of GWF-5 isolator in this paper is modeled.The testing schemes in order to get damping value is designed, and the damping force that varies with the change of the structure and the deflection function formulas and curves of the damping pieces is represented by using the Newtonian Inserting Method to carry on the mathematical processing.According to these, the response when the GWF Resonance-Free isolator that has the low natural frequency is impulsed by shock is analysed emphatically,from the displacement response when the system is impulsed by shock,the mathematical model that optimized the GWF-5 isolator's damping parameter is builded.Genetic Algorithm(GA) theory,a global search technique,is introduced into shock isolation system optimum design.The best damping force that makes isolation system,s performance reach limit is got through GA.The extreme response displacement of the system is minimum when system is impacted.The calculation shows that GA is very effective in shock isolation system optimum design.
