Integrated switching power supplies have been widely used in communication systems, computers, and consumer electronics etc. Motivated by portable applications that demand high performance, switching power supplies are developed mainly aiming to high efficiency, high precision and high integration.Modeling is the foundation of system analysis, the performance of DC-DC system model affect some system parameters deeply , such as respond time, stability and so on. Voltage-Mode,Peaking-Current-Mode,Average-Current-Mode are used widely in DC-DC Converter with each characteristics. This thesis takes Buck topology as an example, focusing on how to realizes a steady and faster DC-DC ConverterEach losses source of DC-DC Converter is studied and measurements are proposed in this dissertation in order to improve the efficiency. New digital controllers according to different loads are proposed to do this job, Cadence tools is used to verify this circuit.A Buck,Voltage-Mode DC-DC Converter operate in heavy load is designed based on csmch0.5μstandard CMOS process. According to Hspice simulation result, the system operation stably, with other performance required.
