From in modem architecture Frank Lloyd Wright developed a school of his own to sparkplug organic architecture to UIA Beijing Charter indicates: The challenges we face are multifaceted and overwhelming. They are in fact the embodiment of complex social, political, economic and cultural processes at levels both local and global. Our discussion must not stop at the mere manifestation of such processes. Rather, an effective solution only comes from a thorough understanding of the dialectic nature of the forces which are shaping our built environment today. Our architectural view appears to show a tendency of regression. And this kind of regression is not simply reversion, but negations after negations in a more advanced stage. In contemporary society, the aesthetic values tends to soften and fuzzy, the nature view is in pursuit of harmony and symbiosis, the concept of culture embraces diversity and poetry.The first chapter briefly presents the research object of this article - organics and organic architecture, and illuminates the range, the emphases the actuality, and the method of study.Chapter 2 gives a new comprehension to organic architecture through analyzing its historical background and conception.Chapter 3 are the emphases of this article, respectively elaborates the function, the form, the environment awareness, the culture, the regionalism, the ecological technology and the digital & information technology. The raise of these eight factors is to provide some references and instructions for the practice of contemporary architectural creation.The last chapter indicates the trend of the development of the organic architectural concept with the sustainable architecture.
