Application Research On The Organic Renewal Theory For The Reconstruction Design Of The Old City Residential Environment

Residence is an important place for urban residents to live in.The distinctive residential buildings that the city has preserved in the old city often highlight the city's unique character and atmosphere.As the most representative cultural heritage of the city in its historical development process,how the residential environment of the old city should be updated and transformed with the development of the time is a subject worthy of serious research in most cities.The "organic renewal" theory put forward by Professor Wu Liangyong provides ideas for the transformation and design of the residential environment in the old city.Based on the theory of “organic renewal”,this paper summarizes its specific guiding strategy for the renovation of residential and residential areas in the old city by analyzing the theory of organic renewal,and explores the effective ways to renovate the residential environment in the old city,in order to provide reference for the renovation design of the living environment in the old city..The paper consists of the following three parts:Part I(Chapter 2)-Theoretical basis: Explain the emergence and specific content of the "organic renewal" theory,and extends its connotation combined with the status quo of contemporary urban development.Part II(Chapter 3)-Analysis of the status quo: Define the concepts related to the residential environment of the old city,summarize the characteristics of the residential environment of the old city,and analyze the current situation and problems faced by the residential environment of the old city.Part III(Chapter 4-5)-Design Guidance: Using the "Organic Renewal" theory and its extension,we will study and solve the problems faced by the residential environment of the old city from different levels.This paper expounds the principles,objectives,strategies and specific measures to guide the renovation and renovation of the old city's living environment with the theory of “organic renewal”,and explains the guiding role of the “organic renewal” theory on the renovation design of the residential environment in the old city with specific cases such as the transformation of Juer Hutong.
