The software-defined radio technique is a kind of new lead-in communication technique, Caused the technical innovation of receiver. By means of the software-defined radios,It is better to make the A/D,D/A closer to the antenna,and processing the signal in the digital domain, any communication function will be performed in the same hardware platform.To realize different function by choose different block of software. Software-defined radio can communicate with the station of old system because it can form all kinds of modulate undee and protocol,this can prolong the cycle of the station and so reduce the cost.So the software-defined radio has a bright foreground in the communication field, especially in the mobile communication field. Due to the limitation of device level,it is impossible to sample RF signal . So it is a valid way to sample IF signal to realize the software-defined radio receiver.This paper first discuss the composing of aviation systemic for INMARSAT and channel types, and analyze specialty, the base framework and the key techniques of the software-defined radio. Combining P channel prop technical guidelines and researching on the practical applications in IF digital receiver,this paper put forward a kind of Broad Band IF digital receiver design of the aviation AES with the software-defined radio. The study of this paper places emphasis two key techniques: the block of signal processing in the IF and the synchronization of carrier. The signal processing in the IF gives special details of algorithm analysis and realizes techniques in ADC and DDC,and carrier synchronization analyse the synchronization algorithm of carrier frequency and phase and give the implementation in FPGA, including structure division, hardware design and logic synthesis.
