Classical Chinese gardens synthesized all kinds of elements to give the matter space poetic imagery and picturable art.So the matter space which people could feel with their sense changes into the artistic conception space which affect people's sensibilities.This was the soul of traditional Chinese gardens and also one of the great things in Chinese national culture.A lot of artistic conception in classical Chinese gardens tied up with vegetation.The ancient literators and landscape architects expressed their emotion with vegetation.This text studied the landscape planting in classic Chinese gardens from the angle of design.The ancient people used vegetation to make beautiful view which have abundant culture and art through a great deal of practices.Only by searching on the classical Chinese landscape planting's artistic conception culture and the arrangement method,both on the excellent modern cases,we could know some principles of the classical landcape planting's artistic conceoption space.And we could do better in the pratical designs using these principles.
