Load modeling is one of the recognized global problems in Power system analysis. Load models for power system Digital simulation has significant implications affecting the power system planning, design, operation and control. The author of the load modeling research on the theoretical basis, Based on the existing method of Measurement-based load model, Using modern genetic algorithm optimization and PSO algorithm for Measurement-based load model parameter identification.This paper summarized the core of the work load modeling : the significance the development, the history and present situation of load modeling ,from the choice of model structure and model parameter identification aspects of the load modeling on the basis of theoretical knowledge, This is the basis for this work. Introduce PSO algorithm and improved methods .PSO and Genetic Algorithms use of measure-based load model for a single curve,the multi-curve approximation method is proposed to identify the load parameters,Combined with the specific issues on the parameters of the analysis of PSO .Comparison of the two algorithms their own characteristics,put forward the specific application.
