The moisture content of coal is an important indicator of coal. It plays an important role in production, trade, processing and usage of coal, basic theoretical research and so on. Therefore, an accurately, rapidly and simple measuring method for measuring the water in coal is desiderated. Capacitance sensor is designed to detect a cylindrical capacitor, with temperature sensors, weight sensors into an integrated structure of coal moisture detection system. And the system for a coal-based water data acquisition, the data obtained using BP neural network to analyze. The results show that the detection system is a good promotion, basically meet the demands of industry.
